Small Groups

What do you love to do? What do you have passion for? Can you spend hours delving into the Scriptures? Have you and your spouse been happily married for years and you’ve really figured out what it takes to be happy? Have you raised exceptional kids? Do you know how to manage your budget well? Do you enjoy gourmet cooking or perhaps a game of hoops? Or maybe you have been though a painful divorce and want to help others work through similar circumstances. Think about your life’s passion — that hobby or interest that you love to pursue in your spare time, the skill that you have mastered, the life goal that you want to reach. Most likely those very things are your strengths — the things God has placed in your life through which you can lead and serve others.
That’s what New Life Small Groups are all about. They’re led by people just like you. Small Group Leaders at New Life share their passion with others and are intentional about it. No matter what type of group they lead, they lead others to be follower’s of Christ. They use each small group meeting to build relationships and help people through hard times in life. New Life Small Groups are the place for people to be empowered for ministry through strong, healthy relationships.
What are small groups?
New Life Small Groups are weekly gatherings of New Lifers and their friends meeting on any topic imaginable. There are all kinds of groups — each built around the interests, stage of life, needs, and strengths of its members. You’ll find Bible studies, prayer groups, missions groups, groups for men, women, couples, singles, and students. You’ll find groups to help you with your budget, strengthen your marriage, improve your parenting skills, overcome addictions, and more. All groups are led by approved Small Group Leaders who are intentional in their leadership goals — to help one another as they develop a relationship with God.
What can I expect?
The great thing about small groups is that they are all different. The format and atmosphere for the mountain climbing group will be a little different than the group that meets to pray. Each Small Group Leader brings a different feel to each of their groups. The leader’s email and/or phone number is in this Small Group Directory. Once you find a small group you’re interested in, shoot them an email or give them a ring and they will give you all the information you need.
When are small groups and who can join?
Small Groups are open to anyone — whether you attend New Life Church or not.
Our small groups run in seasons. The Spring semester will run from January 21st through May 30th. We take a break for the Summer and the Fall semester begins in September.
We will be updating our Summer Activities Schedule soon!
